Why chose Leakend waterproofing?

2018-01-30

1. Acrylic ester water proofing

The main component of Leakend water-based acrylic ester water-proof coating is acrylic ester which is a semi-liquid substance in room temperature. It can form a layer of waterproof coating of certain thickness after curing by separating the surface and water or moisture.

Leakend waterproof coating can be cold-applied, suitable for complex shape and the coating is continuous without joint. In case of leakage, it is easy to find the leak location and repair, making it the first choice for interior waterproof material. It has good extensibility, resistant to high and low temperature and weather, and has long service life. It can be applied on a wet surface, safe to human health and friendly to the environment.

2. Polymer concrete waterproofing material

Polymer concrete waterproofing materials are divided into soft polymer waterproofing slurry and rigid polymer waterproofing mortar. It integrates the solidness and durability of inorganic materials and the waterproofness and flexibility of organic materials, making the product of combination of them both.

The hardened cement body after it is cured to film improves greatly the flaw that the polymer film material swells with water, making the waterproofing coating integrate the high flexibility and elasticity of organic materials and the advantages of good waterproofness and high intensity of inorganic materials.

Meanwhile, it is also waterproof, damp-proof, anti-cracking, anti-corrosion and very cohesive.

Polyurethane waterproofing is oil-based and is divided into single-component and double-component. The film has good extensibility and tensile property, resistant to high and low temperature. However, it uses benzene and xylene as solvent and is not good for the environment and human health.

3. Application of traditional roll material

The waterproof roll material has good tensile strength and anti-aging performance. It can be applied on wet base. However, due to the need for lapping, the detail treatment is not convenient. Moreover, due to large thermal contraction and later shrinkage stress, the roll material edge will easily wrap and fold, resulting in leakage, especially the water moving problem between layers.

Therefore, they are often used in large-area basement moisture-proof projects.

Although the cost is relatively low, but there may be many potential leak problems in the waterproofing construction.

The area of family restroom is usually small with lots of pipelines. The base is exposed to cold and hot water, resulting in larger retreat size than in normal environment. Therefore, roll materials are not suitable to be used in such environment.
