But with the progress of the times, the building layout that only meets the production function can no longer meet the current requirements for industrial buildings, and transformation and upgrading have become an inevitable trend. Carpoly's Anhui factory is demonstrating the beauty of transforming industry and architecture.

On May 15, 2020, Carpoly (Anhui, Mingguang) Green Paint Industrial Park project was officially launched in Mingguang City. As a major project of Carpoly Group, Anhui factory is planned to be built in two phases, producing emulsion paint, multi-color paint, natural stone paint, external thermal insulation products, decorative thermal insulation integrated board and other products. The first phase of the construction project covers an area of 110000㎡, with an annual output of 240,000 tons of water-based paint, dry powder mortar and other supporting products.

The planning of the entire factory follows the order of production, and the building is divided into two parts: front-end R & D center and back-end workshop. Front-end R & D center is based on laboratory and office, there are also showrooms, canteens, public lounge spaces etc.; The back-end workshop consists of two warehouse and one production building, with two transport areas on the north and the west sides for large trucks to work.

The three areas entering from the southern entrance of the factory are the entrance of the industrial park, the entrance square, and the lobby of the R&D center. The R&D center is equipped with two layers of glass curtain walls, so that the production of the factory can be observed.

The large workshop on the north side echoes the R&D center on the south side.

In terms of color, the design team chose red and blue of Carpoly's logo and also gray and white as the main colors to control the color presentation of the entire factory. Both warehouses have gray facades, with the production plant in blue and the R&D centre in white, interspersed with red and blue.
